Doctors Hospital of Laredo Awarded Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification from The Joint Commission
Doctors Hospital of Laredo (DHL) underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review in February of 2024. During the visit, a team of reviewers from The Joint Commission evaluated compliance with related certification standards including program management, supporting self-management and clinical care. The Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. The reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
